Extended the enterprise network with iBGP, using OSPF as the internal underlay and enabling an internal router without a direct ISP connection to learn external routes through the enterprise edge router.

Extended the eBGP lab with a realistic enterprise design: an internal router advertises the LAN via OSPF, and the edge router selectively redistributes it into BGP before advertising it to the ISP.

Built an eBGP topology using Containerlab and FRRouting to understand why BGP exists, how Autonomous Systems exchange routes, and how these concepts apply to cloud and hybrid networking.

Every project includes architecture decisions, source code, validation and screenshots. If it can't be verified, it doesn't belong here.
Design decisions come first. Every solution begins with understanding the problem before writing infrastructure or code.
Problems are solved through observation, validation and root cause analysis—not assumptions.
Networking fundamentals come before automation. The goal is to understand systems deeply before simplifying them.
This is a living engineering project that grows through new milestones, practical experimentation and continuous improvement.
About this project
I'm Andrés Díaz, a Network Engineer with professional experience in enterprise networking, SD-WAN and Microsoft Azure. After working with production network environments, I decided to build Diazan's Cloud Networking Lab to keep up to date regarding cloud networking, infrastructure automation and hybrid architectures.
